Popular Nollywood producer Ikechukwu Nnandi, fondly known as Andy Best has sadly passed away.
The news was confirmed by the convener of the Best of Nollywood Awards (BON) Seun Oloketuyi, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Andy Best was said to have battled an undisclosed prolonged ailment, and he was confirmed dead at a private clinic in Owerri, the Imo State capital, on Tuesday.
His Instagram post read, “Andy best Top Nollywood producer and Marketer is dead. He died in an Owerri hospital today.”
Chief Nnadi hails from Umunkwo Village in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo state and was the CEO of Andy Best Production, a foremost movie production firm in Nigeria.
Andy Best produced so many Nollywood movies like The Lion of Africa, White Poison, My Father’s Cup My sweet Sister, Pretty Angels, Queen of my heart, Rain Makers, amongst many other films.
His Youtube Channel has many of his movies.
His remains have been deposited at the Aladinma Mortuary, in Owerri.
