The family of veteran music star Yeye Janet Iyun Ajilore, popularly known as St Janet, has announced the burial arrangements following her death in 2026.
Newsonspot reports that St Janet, who was born in 1973, died at the age of 53, leaving family members, friends, colleagues and associates mourning her passing.
According to the funeral programme released by the family, a Christian wake, candlelight procession and Artists’ Night will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
The event is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. at the AIT/Faaji FM Compound, Kola Alagbogbo (Ilapo).
The final funeral rites will take place on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at her residence at No. 73 Asipa, Ijeka, Oke-Odo, Shoyoye, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The burial arrangements are expected to bring together relatives, friends, colleagues and fans who will gather to honour the late entertainer and celebrate her life and contributions to the music industry.
The family has appealed for prayers and support as they come to terms with the loss, while praying for God to grant St Janet eternal rest.
St Janet is survived by her loved ones, who will continue to cherish her memory and remember the impact she made during her lifetime.
