The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially updated its register of political party leadership, naming David Mark as the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Newsonspot reports that the update also reflects Rauf Aregbesola as the party’s National Secretary, alongside other key members of the leadership team.

According to INEC’s official website as of 11 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026, the updated ADC leadership structure includes Dr. Mani Ahmad as National Treasurer, Akibu Dalhatu as National Financial Secretary, and Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor as National Legal Adviser.
The development follows a decisive ruling by the Supreme Court of Nigeria, which affirmed the leadership arrangement. The court vacated a previous status quo ante bellum order that had frozen the party’s leadership dispute.
In its ruling, the Supreme Court also directed that all related matters be returned to the Federal High Court for further proceedings.
INEC’s update signals formal recognition of the new ADC leadership, bringing clarity to the party’s internal structure after a period of legal uncertainty.
