Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has officially submitted her Peoples Democratic Party senatorial nomination form in Abuja ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Newsonspot reports that the lawmaker arrived at the national secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party on Monday in the company of supporters, political associates, and party loyalists as she formally declared her intention to seek another term in the National Assembly.
Akpoti-Uduaghan, who currently represents Kogi Central Senatorial District, said her decision to recontest is driven by her commitment to improving infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic opportunities for the people of the district.
During her visit to the PDP headquarters, the senator also expressed appreciation to party members and residents of Kogi Central for their continued support throughout her political journey.
Her re-election bid is already generating political interest across Kogi State, especially amid reports that former Yahaya Bello may contest for the same senatorial seat under the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
