According to Guinness World Records, Hilda’s historic cooking feats inspired a wave of participation across Nigeria, leading to more than 1,500 new record applications within two months of her initial attempt.
Following the announcement, Hilda shared an emotional video documenting her journey, featuring highlights from her record-setting cook-a-thon, mass-catering achievements, and the memorable moments she received confirmation of her global recognition.
Reflecting on the honour, Hilda revealed that despite her success, she struggled with imposter syndrome and often found it difficult to fully accept the reality of her accomplishments. She explained that she sometimes viewed her achievements from a distance to convince herself that the recognition was truly hers.
