Nigeria’s leading airline, Air Peace, has announced an expansion of its regional flight operations aimed at improving connectivity across major West African cities.
Newsonspot reports that beginning April 1, 2026, the airline will roll out new flight schedules designed to enhance travel options for passengers while strengthening regional integration, trade, and tourism within the subregion.
The new schedule will connect several key West African capitals including Lagos, Abidjan, Dakar, Banjul, Accra, Monrovia, and Freetown, offering travellers more convenient and flexible travel arrangements.
Under the updated timetable, the airline will operate the following routes:
Lagos-Abidjan-Dakar-Banjul: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, departing Lagos at 7:00 a.m.
Lagos-Abidjan-Dakar: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Lagos-Accra-Monrovia: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, departing Lagos at 8:00 a.m.
Lagos-Accra-Freetown: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
According to the airline, the expanded regional schedule is designed to make travel across West Africa more efficient while allowing passengers to easily connect through its Lagos hub.
Air Peace also aims to strengthen Lagos’ position as a major regional aviation hub, linking West and Central Africa to international destinations while maintaining its commitment to safe and reliable air transport services.
Beyond the regional expansion, the airline has also announced plans to launch additional routes to six African destinations – Douala, Libreville, Kinshasa, Conakry, Bamako, and Johannesburg – further reinforcing its ambition to grow as a leading Pan-African carrier.
