Tension has continued to mount around Nigerian music icon, 2Face Idibia, following a series of viral incidents involving him and his wife, Honourable Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly.
Newsonspot reports that in a fresh development, the State Assembly on Tuesday summoned Hon. Natasha – who represents Egor Constituency -;to appear before its Ethics and Privileges Committee within one week over allegations of misconduct.
During plenary, Edo Speaker Blessing Agbebaku expressed concern over her recent behaviour that has dominated social media.
According to him:
“Hon. Natasha Irobosa has been summoned to appear before the Ethics and Privileges Committee due to her recent conduct which has been trending online. This conduct drags the name of the House into the mud, and members must conduct themselves well.”
He further noted that the House consists of “cerebral minds and educated people” who have been unfairly dragged into controversy by her actions.
“The attitude of our member has brought this House to disrepute, and we will not tolerate it,” he added.

The Assembly’s action comes after a dramatic scene that unfolded during Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live session on Monday. While Daddy Freeze was speaking with 2Face’s former management team, the singer unexpectedly joined the live stream. Moments later, an off-camera argument broke out between him and Natasha.
2Face was heard asking, “What is your problem?” as Natasha tried to grab the phone, leading to an abrupt end of the broadcast.
This incident followed an earlier viral video showing 2Face being seemingly arrested in the UK. In the video, police officers were seen speaking with him outside a retail store before escorting him away in handcuffs.
With multiple controversies unfolding back-to-back, public attention remains heavily fixed on the couple and the outcome of the Assembly’s investigation.
