Mrs. Esther Chinyere Onyekesi, mother of the late Martins Ifesinachi Onyekesi, CEO of Fish Magnate Group, has strongly dismissed allegations linking Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo to her son’s killing.
Newsonspot reports that during a visit to her home by members of the Geeks and Founders Alliance for Soludo (GEFAS), Mrs. Onyekesi described the July incident as a deliberate and targeted ambush.
“They waited for him while he was coming home, and as he alighted from his car to open the gate, they attacked him. I believe it was a targeted attack,” she recounted.

Addressing claims made by activist Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, Mrs. Onyekesi stated firmly:
“Governor Soludo is not in any way responsible for the death of my son. We all know that Anambra is now better in terms of security than Soludo met it. Will Soludo come to every home to mount guard?”
She revealed that Governor Soludo personally contacted her on the night of the abduction and linked her directly with the state’s Commissioner of Police to aid rescue efforts. She further accused certain politicians of trying to politicize the tragedy for their own gain.
“I have rejected every move to make this political. The governor is doing his best in security, and Anambra is better than it used to be,” she affirmed.
