Sixteen-year-old Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin has received an exciting opportunity from a United States-based education company after emerging as the highest scorer in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Newsonspot reports that Daniella gained national attention after scoring an impressive 372 in the 2026 JAMB examination, making her one of the most celebrated students in the country. Her outstanding performance quickly sparked reactions across social media and educational circles.
In an interview with TheCable, the brilliant student shared details about her educational background and journey to academic success.
According to her, she attended Royal Standard International School for her primary education, Universal Success Academy for junior secondary school, and EFVP Wisdom Strength Model School for her senior secondary education.
Daniella also revealed that she consistently demonstrated leadership qualities during her school years, serving as head girl in both junior and senior secondary school.
Speaking about her reaction after learning she had emerged as the highest scorer in the 2026 UTME, the young scholar described the moment as emotional and unforgettable.
“When I heard about my success, I was very happy. It was a proud moment for me, and I felt grateful to God. My joy knew no bounds, and I became emotional because I didn’t even know how to express how I felt,” she said.
Following the publication of the interview, renowned Nigerian chess master and social impact advocate Tunde Onakoya shared more good news for the teenager through his social media platform.

According to Onakoya, a New York-based YC-backed education company, Miyagi Labs, has expressed interest in making Daniella its brand ambassador following her exceptional academic achievement.
