Akogun Tola Adeniyi is widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s foremost media professionals, with a career spanning journalism, authorship, acting, playwriting, and business leadership. He previously served as Chairman and Managing Director of Daily Times of Nigeria and was a celebrated columnist at the Nigerian Tribune, where his popular column Till Death Do Us Part captivated readers in the 1980s.
He is also associated with influential publications such as The Naked World and Sunday Stamp, which were widely read during their time. Fondly described as “Afigege dari Ijoba”—the one who guides the government with his pen—Adeniyi has shaped public discourse and governance through his writings.
