The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has slammed a six-month suspension on popular Fuji icon, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, widely known as KWAM1, restricting him from air travel within the country.
Newsonspot reports that this disciplinary action follows an incident at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, where the veteran musician was reportedly involved in a confrontation with airline staff while attempting to board a ValueJet flight.
Initial reports claim the altercation stemmed from the alleged possession of a prohibited substance. However, KWAM1 has denied the accusation, clarifying that he only had bottled water in his possession.
