Africa Blockchain Festival (ABF) has announced a strategic partnership with Truecaller, the globally recognised communication safety platform, as its Official Travel eSIM Partner for the 2026 edition, scheduled to take place from October 15 to 17 in Nairobi, Kenya.
The partnership reflects the festival’s commitment to delivering a seamless experience for its international delegates, bringing together technology leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, creators, and innovators from across Africa and beyond.
As the Official Travel eSIM Partner, Truecaller will support the festival’s international connectivity experience through Truecaller Travel eSIM, helping delegates stay connected as they travel to Nairobi and participate in one of Africa’s leading gatherings for blockchain technology, digital finance, and innovation.
With attendees travelling from multiple countries, reliable mobile connectivity is essential for navigating a new city, coordinating meetings, accessing digital services, sharing experiences, and staying in touch with colleagues and loved ones.
Truecaller Travel eSIM offers an accessible way for international travellers to access mobile data without the inconvenience of purchasing and replacing physical SIM cards, helping them stay connected throughout their journey.
The partnership brings together two organisations with a shared interest in enabling greater connectivity across borders. While Africa Blockchain Festival creates opportunities for collaboration across the continent’s digital economy, Truecaller Travel eSIM addresses an everyday challenge faced by the people travelling to make those connections possible.
Speaking on the partnership, Olubunmi Fabanwo, Convener, Africa Blockchain Festival, said:
“At Africa Blockchain Festival, we are intentional about creating an experience that goes beyond the conversations on stage. Our delegates are coming from different parts of Africa and the world, and staying connected is fundamental to how they travel, collaborate, and engage with the festival.
“Welcoming Truecaller as our Official Travel eSIM Partner allows us to extend that experience beyond the venue, helping participants stay connected from the moment they begin their journey to Nairobi.”
The 2026 edition of Africa Blockchain Festival will convene key stakeholders in Africa’s rapidly evolving digital economy, with discussions spanning blockchain adoption, artificial intelligence, digital assets, financial infrastructure, regulation, and the future of cross-border innovation.
Through the partnership, Africa Blockchain Festival and Truecaller will also explore opportunities to engage travelling delegates and showcase how digital connectivity enables collaboration, mobility, and participation in Africa’s growing innovation ecosystem.
