Peter Adeleke, a Nigerian-born author and leadership coach based in Canada, has etched his name in history by setting a new Guinness World Record for the longest leadership lesson.
Newsonspot reports that Adeleke lectured for an impressive 28 hours and 45 minutes in Calgary, Canada, surpassing the previous record of 24 hours. His attempt, which took place in August 2025, was officially confirmed by Guinness World Records on its website.
“We are thrilled to inform you that your application for the longest leadership lesson has been successful and you are now the Guinness World Records Title Holder!” Guinness stated in a confirmation email, also shared by Adeleke on Instagram.

The record-setting coach originally aimed for 48 hours but concluded at 28 hours, noting that leadership – and life – is not always about meeting exact targets but about pushing limits, embracing resilience, and making an impact.
Reflecting on the achievement, Adeleke expressed gratitude to God and his team, saying the milestone was made possible by “grace, resilience, and continuous support.”
