Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has lost one of his aides, Engineer James Adepoju, Newsonspot.com.ng reports.
Adepoju, until his appointment as Makinde’s aide in March 2020, was the Engineering Head of Prize Engineering Consultants Limited.
The cause of his death has not been revealed as at the time of filing this report on Wednesday.
He is a graduate of Civil Engineering from the University of Ibadan, and has been involved in several projects, including providing engineering consultancy services on the construction of Igbeti-Ogbomoso Road, Oshodi Transport Interchange; reconstruction/upgrading of Oshodi-Murtala Muhammed International Airport Road; Oshodi-Abule Egba Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project and VGC Flood Control Project, among others.
Chief Press Secretary to the state Governor, Mr. Taiwo Adisa confirmed the death of Adepoju to Newsonspot.com.ng.
He said, “Yes. I heard it. He died today.”
