Emotions were raised as passers-by placed curses on an unknown mother, who dumped her dead babies in a dustbin in Calabar.
The corpse of the babies believed to be a set twins was discovered at a dump site at Mayne Avenue Extension, Calabar, the capital of Cross River State, Nigeria.
Eye witness said that the babies were found in the waste bin in the early hours of Friday, 17 July, 2020.
Identity of the perpetrator and the gender of the babies remains unknown as at the time of filing this report.
An eyewitness who spoke on the condition of anonymity expressed his disappointment that someone somewhere could be heartless enough to do such.
“Tomorrow now when she can’t give birth, she won’t confess, she will just be stressing pastor and prayer band for nothing,” he lamented.
