A Coronavirus patient has been discharged in Oyo state after recovering from the disease.
Governor Seyi Makinde who made the announcement via Twitter, said the patient was discharged after testing negative twice for the virus. This brings the total number of discharged patients in the state to 14.
The Oyo state Governor also confirmed 3 new Coronavirus cases in the state, which increased the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 55.
Makinde tweeted;
OYO STATE COVID-19 TASK FORCE UPDATE (MAY 07, 2020)
1. One confirmed #COVID_19 patient has received their second negative test result and is now free from the virus. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to fourteen.
2. Also, the COVID-19 confirmation tests for three more cases came back POSITIVE. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is fifty-five.
