Newsonspot reports that the project, valued at approximately $450,000, was initiated during his recent visit to Nigeria. It aims to bridge long-standing healthcare gaps in the community, where access to quality medical services has remained limited over the years.
Once completed, the health centre will feature consultation rooms, a fully equipped laboratory, a pharmacy, and basic emergency care units. There are also plans to recruit qualified medical personnel to ensure the facility operates efficiently and sustainably.
Currently in its early construction phase, the project has already attracted praise from residents and supporters, who describe it as a transformative step toward improving grassroots healthcare delivery in Imo State.
