A serious road accident on Lagos’ 3rd Mainland Bridge has left several people injured following a collision between a Toyota Camry and a commercial bus, popularly called “Danfo.”
Newsonspot reports that the incident occurred just before Adekunle Junction, heading toward Lagos Island. Eyewitnesses reported that the force of the collision caused the Danfo bus to lose control and somersault several times, throwing passengers into a state of panic. Many bystanders rushed to the scene to offer help as the chaos unfolded.
Emergency services responded swiftly, treating the injured and clearing the wreckage to ease the heavy traffic buildup on one of Lagos’ busiest expressways.
Authorities have since advised motorists to remain alert and strictly obey traffic regulations, especially during rush hour, to prevent such accidents.
