The Nigeria Police Force Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command has rescued reality television star Ilebaye Odiniya Emmanuel following an alleged physical assault involving her father, Hon. Emmanuel Odiniya, at Royal Anchor Estate in Abuja.
Newsonspot reports that according to a statement issued by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, the incident occurred in the early hours of May 9, 2026, after authorities received a distress call reporting an ongoing assault at the family residence in Wuye, Abuja.

Police disclosed that operatives from the Wuye Division, alongside officers from the Department of Operations, were immediately deployed to the scene. However, access to the residence was delayed after officers discovered the gate to the compound was locked.
After gaining entry around 2:30 a.m., police reportedly found Ilebaye with visible bruises and rescued her alongside her brothers before rushing them to NNPC Hospital, Abuja, for medical treatment.
The FCT Command confirmed that Hon. Emmanuel Odiniya has been taken into custody while investigations continue to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
The development sparked widespread reactions online after videos surfaced showing the 2023 Big Brother Naija winner in an emotional live session, crying for help with visible swelling on her face.
