Akmodel Group Managing Director, Builder (Dr.) Abdulhakeem Odegade, MD, recently led his team on a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty Oba Fatai Aremu Aromire to celebrate the monarch’s 16th anniversary on the throne of his forefathers.
The visit was part of activities marking the royal milestone of the revered traditional ruler of the Ijora and Iganmu Kingdom in Lagos.
During the visit, Dr. Odegade presented Ojaja Drinks, a product distributed by Akmodel Group, to the monarch as a symbolic gift to honour the occasion.
His Royal Majesty graciously accepted the drinks and offered prayers over them, expressing appreciation for the thoughtful gesture and a continued relationship between the palace and the Akmodel Group.
While interacting with the guests, the monarch also shared a personal insight about his heritage, explaining that his mother is from Ile-Ife, making him an indigene of the historic Yoruba town as well.
The gathering featured prayers for peace, prosperity and continued progress for the kingdom, after which guests joined in breaking the Ramadan fast for the day.
Among notable personalities present at the visit was Prince Omooba Adekemi Ojora The Bobakeye Of Ijora and Iganmu Kingdom, Chief Princess Omaka Omowunmi Ojora The Yeye Bobakeye Of Ijora and Iganmu Kingdom, Prince Deji Oladosu Of The IG Monitoring Team, Prince Kosoko, Princess Adedayo Oojora Iyalode Of Bode Thomas Surulere alongside other respected chiefs and dignitaries who came to celebrate with the monarch on the special anniversary.
The courtesy visit further highlighted the importance of maintaining strong relationships between traditional institutions and corporate organisations working within the community.
