Air Peace Limited has taken delivery of its second Embraer 190 aircraft, further strengthening its operations in Nigeria and across the region.
Newsonspot reports in a statement released on Friday evening by the airline’s spokesperson, Mr. Efe Osifo-Whiskey, the 96-seater jet, with registration mark 5N-CER, landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 2:42 p.m.
The airline expressed excitement about the addition, noting that more Embraer units are expected in the coming year as part of its deliberate fleet expansion strategy.
“We are delighted to receive our second E190 and expect more next year. Fleet expansion is intentional, aligning with our mission to ease air travel,” the airline said.
Air Peace emphasized that the Embraer 190 model is well-suited for both domestic and regional routes, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and improved passenger experience. The new aircraft also underscores the airline’s commitment to fleet modernization, route expansion, and strengthening regional connectivity.
Looking ahead, the airline plans to introduce new domestic routes, broaden its international services, and deepen its presence within Africa. Notably, Air Peace received its first E190 in June, marking a significant investment in right-sized aircraft for the Nigerian aviation industry.
