Buhari to address House of Reps on insecurity in Nigeria.
The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has agreed to address the House of Representatives on the security challenges across the country.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives (Reps), Femi Gbajabiamila, disclosed this to State House correspondents on Wednesday after meeting Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Gbaja disclosed that a date had been agreed and will be made public soon.
The Speaker said the President is concerned about the spate of insecurity in the country.
On Tuesday at the plenary, the Green Chamber of the National Assembly agreed on a motion to invite Buhari.
This followed the Borno massacre by Boko Haram last Saturday.
More than 40 farmers from Zabarmari were said to have been slaughtered in Koshebe village.
