The Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the gradual easing of the 72-hour curfew imposed on the state.
Speaking during a statewide broadcast on Friday, October 23, Governor Sanwo-Olu said the curfew in Lagos would be lifted on Saturday morning by 8 am and there will be movement till 6 pm.
“People can now go out between 8am and 6pm in Lagos from Saturday,” he said.
He however, warned against any other protests in the state.
After a tour of the trouble spots in the state on Friday, the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu said the situation would be reviewed on Monday.
According to the governor, the level of destruction recorded in the last few days is unprecedented in the history of the state.
