Laycon, who is a rapper, emerged the winner of the Big Brother Naija season 5 tagged “BBNaija Lockdown” on Sunday evening, September 27, Newsonspot.com.ng reports.
Laycon won the BBNaija Lockdown edition after getting the highest number of votes from the voting public as announced by the show Host, Ebuka.
Before Laycon was announced as the winner of BBNaija 2020, Ebuka asked the finalists which are Vee, Neo, Nengi Dorathy and Laycon to stand for the last eviction.
Vee was the first to be evicted, followed by her love partner in the House, Neo, after this, was Nengi.
Dorathy and Laycon became the last two housemates in the BBNaijaLockdown House after the eviction of the other three housemates.
Today, the grand finale, the winner of BBNaija season 5, is ‘Laycon’, whose real name is Olamilekan Agbeleshe. He is a 26-year-old Lagos-based rapper. Interestingly, his die-hard fans popularly known as ‘Icons’, showered him with their unflinching love and support. Celebrities are also not left out in giving him tremendous support.
However, Laycon beat Dorathy to win the N85 million grand prize after he scored the highest number of votes.
The breakdown of the grand prize for BBNaija season five includes N30 million cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment courtesy Revolution Plus; a top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; a trip to Dublin courtesy Guinness; home appliances courtesy Scanfrost.
Others are a trip to Dubai packaged by Travelbeta; a year’s supply of Indomie noodles, Munch it, and Colgate toothpaste; a year’s supply of Pepsi, a branded chiller, trip to watch the UEFA Champions League final; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.
