All Progressive Congress Member Representing Bama, Ngala, Kala-Balge Federal Constituency, Dr. Zainab Gimba on Friday, has flagged off her Constituency Empowerment Schemes in Maiduguri, Borno State Capital city.
The project flag off ceremony had in its attendance the presence of H.E Prof BG Umara Zulum min, FNSE, the Executive Governor of Borno, Deputy Governor, APC State Chairman, National and State Assembly Members, Royal fathers, Elder statesmen, Commissioners, among other dignitaries.
Empowerment tools distributed include; 118 vehicles and 200 tricycles (Keke Napep) aimed to empower transporters, 800 Sewing machines to empower tailors and fashion designers, 400 grinding machines to empower local restaurant owners, and 492 water pumps to empower irrigation farmers.
At the Grand occasion also, cheque of millions of Naira was also presented to four different families that lost their loved ones during her electioneering campaigns. She enjoined the beneficiaries to judiciously make use of the items given to them to create more jobs and means of livelihoods to the other constituents.
