Even though he claims to be the ‘master of the universe’, land grabbers stormed a land Guru Maharaj Ji claims ownership.
The assailants invaded the land on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Four followers of the founder of the One Love Family were injured.
On Tuesday, Guru Maharaj Ji told newsmen in Ibadan that the land grabbers were aided by the police.
He said they had gotten two favourable judgments on the land being used for farming “until we saw these hoodlums invade the land”.
He lamented that people “still engage in such heinous crimes where government preaches rule of law and anti-corruption every day”.
Guru Maharaj Ji decried that his followers who approached them over encroachment on the land were beaten up, adding that his lawyer has been under threat.
He recalled that they had written to the police for the enforcement of the judgment.
“We petitioned Assistant Inspector General of Police office in Osogbo. Despite all these, they bribed their way for policemen to have led them here and gave them protection”.
Guru Maharaj Ji urged President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Seyi Makinde, Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, to intervene.
”I don’t want to fight them because we should give what belongs to Ceaser, to Ceaser. This is what we have done now just to make sure that my mission on earth is accomplished”.
Gbenga Fadeyi, Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo, said that he was not aware of any petition on the matter.
SP Fadeyi explained that petitions were usually sent to the Commissioner of Police.
The spokesman added that if there was any petition on the issue, the complainant should follow it up.
In March 2019, Guru Maharaj Ji eulogized his existence and educated everyone on how to address him.
He called himself, “The Living Perfect Master of this age. The saviour of this time, the dustbin of life, The Al Mahdi, The Christ of this time, The world Teacher.
“Satguru Maharaj Ji is not a clergy man, he is not the living perfect master for the one love family, neither is he the savior for Nigeria and Africa but the living perfect master of the entire universe, the savior of the universe”.
