Nigerian dancer and entertainer Pascal Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has reportedly been remanded in a United Kingdom prison over an alleged assault.
Newsonspot reports that the development was disclosed by the Oluomo of Derby, who confirmed the reports of Poco Lee’s arrest and ongoing legal proceedings in the UK.
According to him, Poco Lee is expected to appear before the Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15, 2026, for a plea hearing, where he will indicate whether he intends to plead guilty or not guilty to the alleged offence.
He urged the public to allow the legal process to take its course, stressing that the entertainer remains innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
The Oluomo of Derby also said he would attend the proceedings to offer support to the Nigerian community and ensure Poco Lee receives appropriate assistance during the legal process.
Reports of Poco Lee’s alleged detention in the UK began circulating online on August 19, following claims that he had been arrested over an alleged rape.
However, the identity of the alleged victim and other details surrounding the case have not been independently verified.
Poco Lee’s next court appearance is scheduled for 10am on September 15, 2026, at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
