Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League title race with an impressive 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday’s north London derby.
Newsonspot reports that Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres were the stars of the match, scoring two goals each for the Gunners. Eze opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, marking his first goal since his hat-trick against Tottenham in the reverse fixture last November. Tottenham responded quickly, with Randal Kolo Muani equalising after capitalising on a mistake from Declan Rice, ending the first half at 1-1.
In the second half, Arsenal took full control of the game. Gyokeres restored Arsenal’s lead with a well-placed strike from outside the box, and Eze added a third goal shortly after the hour mark. In injury time, Gyokeres completed his brace, holding off a defender before calmly finishing past goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.

Manchester City’s win over Newcastle United had tightened the race, but Arsenal responded emphatically.
“Really happy, really proud about how we approached the game,” Arteta said. “The initiative and the quality we showed to come here and win the game. This is the Premier League, it will go all the way for sure. Ten games in the Premier League is a long way.”
Arsenal now have 61 points from 28 matches, while City sit on 56 with a game in hand.
The victory moves Arsenal five points clear at the top of the Premier League table, ending a brief slump and strengthening their position as favourites for the title.
