David Raya has officially secured the Premier League Golden Glove award for the third consecutive season following another outstanding campaign with Arsenal.
Newsonspot reports that the Spanish goalkeeper has kept 18 clean sheets in 36 league appearances this season, making it mathematically impossible for any rival to surpass him with only three matches remaining in the campaign. His closest competitor, Gianluigi Donnarumma, currently has 14 clean sheets.
Raya sealed the milestone during Arsenal’s dramatic victory over West Ham United at the London Stadium, where he produced several match-winning saves. One of the game’s biggest moments came when he denied Matheus Fernandes in a crucial one-on-one situation before Arsenal quickly launched a counterattack that ended with a goal from Leandro Trossard.
Late in stoppage time, VAR also played a decisive role after ruling out what appeared to be a West Ham equaliser due to a foul committed on Raya during the build-up.
Following the match, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta praised the goalkeeper’s influence and match-saving performance.
“When you talk about magic moments, this is certainly one of the most needed moments as well to pull off that save. He was incredible,” Arteta said.
Since joining Arsenal from Brentford FC in 2023, Raya has consistently established himself as one of the Premier League’s finest goalkeepers. He recorded 16 clean sheets during his debut season at the club before continuing his dominance in the following campaigns.
With this latest achievement, Raya joins an elite group of goalkeepers that includes Pepe Reina, Joe Hart, and Ederson as players who have won the Golden Glove award in three consecutive seasons.

The Arsenal shot-stopper is now only one Golden Glove away from matching the all-time record of four awards jointly held by Petr Čech and Joe Hart.
Since making his Premier League debut in 2021, no goalkeeper in the league has recorded more clean sheets than David Raya.
