Akmodel Group Managing Director, Builder (Dr.) Abdulhakeem Odegade, celebrates women across Nigeria and the world as part of activities marking International Women’s Day 2026, urging individuals and institutions to embrace this year’s theme, “Give To Gain.”
In his goodwill message, Dr. Odegade described women as pillars of growth, innovation, and stability in society, noting that sustainable development cannot be achieved without intentionally empowering women.
According to him, the theme “Give To Gain” speaks to the power of generosity, collaboration, and shared progress. He emphasized that when society gives women access to opportunities, education, support systems, and leadership platforms, everyone benefits.
“When we give our support, resources, and encouragement to women, we gain stronger families, thriving businesses, and a more prosperous nation,” he stated.
The Akmodel Group MD reaffirmed the company’s commitment to fostering inclusive growth by creating enabling environments where women can excel in business, entrepreneurship, leadership, and community development.
He further called on corporate organizations, government institutions, and community leaders to adopt policies and initiatives that promote gender equity and meaningful participation of women in decision-making processes.
Dr. Odegade concluded by encouraging women to continue breaking barriers, lifting one another, and embracing collaboration as a pathway to greater achievements.
As the world marks International Women’s Day 2026, his message stands as a reminder that true progress is built on shared success – when women gain, the nation gains.
