The Executive Director of Jashabel Touch-A-Heart Foundation (JTAH Foundation), Favour Benson, has joined the global celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, commending the resilience, strength, and invaluable contributions of women across Nigeria and the world.
Speaking on this year’s theme, “Give To Gain,” Benson highlighted the importance of generosity, collaboration, and shared progress in empowering women. She emphasized that when society gives women access to opportunities, knowledge, mentorship, and support, everyone benefits – from families to communities and the nation at large.
“A society that invests in its women secures its future. Giving support, platforms, and encouragement to women ensures progress, innovation, and lasting development for all,” she said.
Under Benson’s leadership, JTAH Foundation has continued to champion initiatives that foster women’s empowerment through education, advocacy, mentorship, and community development. The foundation believes that meaningful change begins when organizations and individuals embrace collaboration and a culture of giving.
She also calls on governments, corporate institutions, and communities to join in creating more inclusive spaces where women can thrive – in leadership, business, entrepreneurship, and social impact.
Concluding her message, Benson stressed that “when women gain, the nation gains,”urging everyone to continue giving their time, resources, platforms, and voices to uplift women.
