Nigerian actor Timini Egbuson has announced the death of his father, Samuel Oyindobra Egbuson.
Newsonspot reports that the actor shared the sad news on Sunday via his Instagram page, where he posted several photos in honour of his late father. Timini expressed deep shock and sadness, describing the loss as a painful way to begin the new year.
“Didn’t think I’ll start the year saying this. Rest in peace dad. So much left unsaid, but I’ll keep making you proud,” he wrote.
Although Timini did not disclose the cause or date of his father’s death, he assured fans that he would continue to honour his father’s legacy through his life and work. He ended his message with prayers for his father’s peaceful rest.
Timini Egbuson is the younger brother of popular Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande.
