Nigerian Afrobeat star 2Baba and his wife, Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, have welcomed their first child together – a baby boy.
Newsonspot reports that speculation began on Friday, November 21, after Osawaru was spotted at a hospital, prompting rumours that she had gone into labour. She later confirmed the news on her official Facebook page, sharing that she and her husband had been “blessed with a baby boy.”
The announcement sparked a wave of congratulatory messages across social media as fans and well-wishers celebrated the couple.
This joyful moment marks a new chapter in their closely followed relationship. The couple formalised their union earlier this year after 2Baba’s separation from Annie Idibia in January. Their relationship first became public after a Valentine’s Eve proposal, followed by family introductions and traditional rites.
In July, they held a private traditional wedding ceremony in Abuja attended by close relatives.
Both mother and child are said to be in good health as the couple begins this new phase of their life together.
