Former Super Eagles captain and coach, Sunday Oliseh, is grieving the painful loss of his younger brother, Uche Levi Oliseh, who passed away at the age of 51.
Newsonspot gathered that Uche died on Thursday, July 17, following a brief but severe battle with malaria. The heartbreaking news was shared by Oliseh himself in a deeply emotional post on X (formerly Twitter).
“Sadly, I lost my brother, Uche Levi Oliseh, on Thursday after a brief illness with malaria fever. It hurts so bad, like I have never felt before. I have over a million things that I would wanna talk, laugh and do with Uche, but sadly I cannot anymore,” he wrote.
The Nigerian football community and fans have since expressed their condolences and support for the Oliseh family during this difficult time.
