The election for new executives for the national body of the Association of Movie Producers (AMP) was held today 28th September, 2024.
The event took place at Ojez Hotel event hall in Ebute Metta, Lagos and it was carried out according to the rules of the Association of Movie Producers Electorial Committee (AMPEC) and abided by all contestants.
Among the contestants were:
1. Amb. Dr. Queen Blessing Ebigieson
2. Hon. Shan George
3. Favour Benson
4. Tony Chukuma
5. . Glory Chisom Okafor
6. Asuelime Ojeriakhi Eniola
After a keen contest by all participants, below are the winners that emerged:
1. Amb. Dr. Queen Blessing Ebigieson – AMP National President
2. Hon. Shan George – AMP National Vice-president
3. Favour Benson – National Publicity Secretary
4. Tony Chukuma – National General Secretary
5. Glory Chisom Okafor – National Welfare Officer
6. Asuelime Ojeriakhi Eniola – National Financial Secretary
All members from different AMP State Chapters that were in attendance were able to carry out their civic rights by casting their votes.
Notable amongst the attendees are: Amb. Dr. Queen Blessing Ebigieson, Hon. Shan George, Favour Benson, Olorogun Zeb Ejiro OON (AMP BoT Chairman), Emeka Ossai, Past Presidents Ralph Nwadike and Paul Obazele, Elder Sam Azubuike, Norbert Ajaegbu (AMPEC Chairman), Fidelis Dukker, Lillian Amah-Aluko, Rosemary Ngbi, Franca Brown, Chidi Nwokeabia, representatives from the Censors Board and a host of others.
It was a happy occasion as the exercise was done peacefully and families and friends were also around to cheer them on.
