A 53-year-old woman whose name was not given has been arrested at a business Centre in Baruwa, Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos where she was making photocopies and laminating electoral materials suspected to belong to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed on Friday.
Hundeyin said the suspect was arrested on Thursday around 4pm at Candos Road, Baruwa in the Iyana-Ipaja area of the state.
He said the suspect was arrested inside a business centre where she was making the photocopies.
“She was arrested with 550 different INEC materials.
“The laptop she used in printing the materials had been recovered and she couldn’t give a good account of how she came in possession of the materials.
“The case has been transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba for further investigation,” he said.
