The Deputy Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly, Bako Kasim Alfa, has resigned.
Alfa made the announcement during the plenary session on Thursday.
Speaker of the House read his resignation letter which he submitted.
Alfa, did not, however, disclosed the reasons for his decision to resign.
He has also been replaced by Jibrin Ndagi Baba, the lawmaker representing Lavun constituency.
