Nigerian singer, Simi, believes her little toddler deserves some of the proceeds from her 2020 hit single, Duduke.
Simi made this known on her Instagram page while thanking her fans and daughter Adejare over the acceptance of 2020 hit single which has garnered over 10 million views on Youtube in less than two months.
“#SimiArmy You colour my life. Thank you!!…#Duduke10million….Thank you Deja You deserve some of this money, but I’ll spend it for both of us my lil burrito.”
The song was dedicated to her one month and two weeks old daughter, Adejare, before her delivery.
Accompanied with an e-challenge, ‘Duduke Challenge’, Simi says ‘Duduke’ is the beat of the heart or the beat of the drums one dances to, or the beat anyone sings a melody to. She summed it saying ‘it’s whatever beat you want it to be.’
Simi is married to her colleague, Adekunle Gold, and the couple welcomed their first baby together months after their first wedding anniversary.
