Newsonspot blog reports that the ruling of the court in Abuja today may have temporarily halted the planned declaration by Central Bank of Nigeria governor, Godwin Emefiele for 2023 Presidency under the All Progressives Congress (APC) tomorrow.
According to a very reliable source, barring any last minute change(s), Emefiele has perfected plans to make known his intention to give the presidency a shot in Aso Villa, Abuja.
This move will not only confirm that he is now a card-carrying member of a political party but also douse the speculation of his ambition, interest and intention after so many denials.
Competent sources revealed that the CBN top shot was been gouded into the race by the Nigerian business elites who have thrown their weights behind him.
The court ruling today may have affected the plan as the court summoned the INEC, and AGF to appear before it on May 12, to show cause on why status quo antebellum, should not be granted to the CBN Governor.
